BARISTAS, MAKE A CAFE OUT OF A SHIPPING CONTAINER

Mining and construction equipment is expensive (tens of thousands of dollars in some circumstances) and should be garaged and protected from the elements when not in use, just like an expensive car. But how can this be accomplished at a remote mine location when a permanent warehouse is not required? Or a construction site where all equipment will be removed eventually? What is the solution? A shipping container fort!

These extremely sturdy constructions are the ideal solution to the problem of shielding large pieces of equipment in a temporary work site. If not temporary, a shipping container shelter is a good low-cost option to a permanent warehouse or shed.

While container shelters are most typically employed in large industries such as mining, construction, energy, and agriculture, they can be utilized by any organization that needs items to be protected from the elements. A shipping container shelter can help nurseries, wineries, car yards, ranches, studs, and anywhere else that needs large-scale protection.

Shipping containers are easily shipped in and constructed (no building permit is required), easily dismantled and shipped out, and can protect from rain and frost, sun and heat, wind and dust, and can be transferred from site to site or different areas on a property. When used with shipping containers as a base, they provide a dual purpose of shelter and storage at the same time.

SHELTER AND PROTECTION HAVE DUAL BENEFITS

Take a peek at how a shipping container is cleverly built. First, there are the shipping container bases… They not only give a robust, durable foundation, but they also provide a secondary use in storage or shelter. So you can park the monster truck beneath the shelter and store all of the smaller equipment in a shipping container. Alternatively, park the tractor for the night and sleep luxuriously in a shipping container bunkhouse. Then there’s the shelter. It is strong and windproof (up to 316km/h), and it provides a high-ceilinged shelter that can hold the most powerful equipment. When you want to entirely surround your equipment or site, end walls are also available.
